Aosta city
Aosta has an old city centre, with shops, restaurants and cafes. You can spend a couple of hours walking through the town.
- Some very well preserved roman ruins like the Arc of Augustus, Porta Praetoria, the Roman theatre and the Cryptoporticus.
- The Cathedral and the Collegiata di Sant’Orso.
- The Early Christian Basilica of San Lorenzo, built to host the remains of the first bishops of Aosta.

There are several castle in the Aosta valley, such as Castello di Fénis, Castello di Saint-Pierre, and Castello d’Aymavilles.
