Car

We recommend taking the route below as it is the most relaxed to drive. Be aware that the roads in France require toll and you need a highway vignet for Switzerland (you can buy this at the border or online).

Airplane

Take the airplane from Schiphol to either Turin or Milan Malpensa.

Milan Malpensa is 2 hours drive from Aosta.

Turin is 1.5 hours drive from Aosta, but the flights are a little bit more expensive.

From both airports you can rent a car to drive to Aosta. You can take public transport, but we would not recommend this, as there are not a lot of options in Aosta.
